well IDK there are always different levels of goku as well I mean just skipping a warm up and going straight into seriousness he could destroy a planet without much effort, then again who knows it all depends on when the two met, if it where like at the end of gt, I highly doubt superman would stand a chance.

full power goku vs full power super man would be a joke. the strongest incarnation of superman wasnt weak against magic, or kryptonite. he could bring people back from the dead, crush stars, sneeze and blow up galaxies far away. he had microscopic vision, telescopic vision, and could travel 8 million. and just going by speed, superman can movefaster then time

I am completly retarded as to what was previously posted. yes goku can blow up a planet with a kamehameha, but as the show demonstrates, peoples skin are more resiliant to energy then a planet. no supermans whole crushing a star with his bar hands, now thats a REAL feat of strength. since no DBZ person could withstand direct contact with a sun. (cooler doesnt count).

also, goku needs his spirit bomb to kill anything. guess whos the hero of justice and doesnt have any evil in him?!!? yea.. SUPERMAN! and guess what overpowered energy attack doesnt work against good people??? spirit bomb! (not that the spirit bomb would hurt superman anyway)

theres so many different powers of super man its like every time i read on of these discussions, the creators of superman keep adding more different powers, he always seem to have some weird newer power that i never heard of.

I vote for Superman. It really all depends on the battle though. Even if it was Goku as SS4, or as Gogeta, 100x K-wave will do damage to Superman, and it will hurt, but! Superman will heal it off in due time. Goku doesn't heal like Superman does. Since they're both alien life-forms, they're obviously going to be able to fight in space. How I look at it, the last posts have explained all their statistics and what not, so I wont bring any of that crap back up into my post. What I will say is, I can see either of the two losing in one quick way.

Let's start with Goku.

Goku: Alright, I'd believe the only way Goku can win against Superman is if he grabs a hold onto Superman some how and transports himself to another galaxy that has no yellow Sun. Thus, Superman wouldn't be so Super anymore, and just become... well a man. And since there is no yellow Sun to give him his incredible Super powers, he will die in the dead of space like any ordinary man.

Now for Superman.

Superman: If anyone watched the Justice League episodes, you will remember the episode where they fight themselves in the alternate universe, as the "Justice Lords" or was it "Kings"? Anyways. When the alternate versions trapped the regular JL and went into their dimension, the first villain to appear was Doomsday. How did Superman deal with Doomsday and all the other villains in the alternate dimension? He didn't kill them, he just lobotomized them by using his heat ray vision to put two little holes into the victims forehead turning them into a drooling mindless meat puppet. So if Superman grabbed a hold of Goku, and did that very thing (which is kind of a cheap shot) then I'm sure he'd end up like the rest. If his heat vision got past Doomsday cranium plate, then I'm sure as hell it'll go right through Goku's a lot faster. If he wanted to, he could kill him, but wouldn't as that's not the superhero way. But if you did watch that very episode in JLU then you will realize why every anime or cartoon needs a villain because there would be nothing for the superheros to defeat or save.

I'm sure there are a few other ways of defeating each other, but in the end, that's how I'd choose to defeat either one if I was one or the other. But as for me, I still go with Superman, as I was into Superhero affiliated stuff before I got into anime.

2) Be it this may be true, but there are only so many Senzu beans that Korin can grow at a time, and if Goku was feeding off of these to regain his stamina and power, I'm sure Superman would catch on after the 2nd or 3rd one he pops into his mouth. Don't think Superman is that thick to realize those aren't Mentos' he's poppin' into this mouth.

3) If Cooler or his goons in the first Cooler movie managed to find the Senzu beans and burn the pouch that Gohan (I think it was Gohan who had them) got from Korin to help Goku regain his health and power, then I'm pretty sure Superman can heat beam the S-beans before he eats most of them.

Hm, maybe Goku should just eat Superman. He does have a big appetite. But oh well, guess we'll never know who will win because I doubt Ed Boon is stupid enough to make another failed attempt at an MK game by merging in some other type of alternate universe into the MK universe to fight each other in... Mortal Kombat!

Seriously though, I think goku would win. The ideas of how he could win that other people said would work, like the sun thing. The whole superman using the heat ray against goku is stupid. Goku can just teleport out of it or get stronger, start screaming them force him out of it. Plus he could go super saiyan 4 and he would almost be invincable.
